Does anyone find Stephen King's books scary?

I completely agree with you. I've read a couple of his books and several short stories, and decided I'm not a big fan. He's a decent writer but its hard for me to understand why he's a best-selling author. Maybe I just haven't read the right books. But honestly, I wasn't that impressed by his stories.
