Ochone, ochone, almaist naebody want a free Scotlan'-?

Why does the SNP still insist on a free Scotland when almost nobody in Scotland, or all of Britain, want to separate? How can Scotland support itself with independence? Oh, that's right, they can't, and seeing as there is nothing in favour of independence beside some romanticise misconception of Scottish 'glorious' past, in which highland chiefs commit genocide and m murder upon their enemy chiefs and their respective clans, why should Scotland be separated?
