I would like a stallion for my mare....?

You love your horse, I know it! And you obviously want another horse to love, so did I. I wanted a foal too, but you know what? SO many horses die in slaughterhouses every day, and I decided, why not rescue a horse that is going to go to slaughter? They will probably appreciate the love even more than a foal, since they know what's going to happen to them. A foal just grows up knowing love, but what if that foal eventually ended up at a slaughter house? And then someone rescued him? I think he would love you even more. PLEASE go rescue a horse if you have space! You can even rescue foals, weanlings, pregnant mares (if you have room for 2 more) etc. and get the same experience, but know that you've saved one horse from ending up on a plate in France. Sad fact, but true.
