Can Gerber "premium" be used with platex bottles?

I have been wanting to try the platex drop ins bottles with my new little one (due in a couple months), but I don't like the they come with. They appear very long. Does anyone know of the gerber premium bottle can be used in their place? I really like the shape and soft texture of them.
