Idling issues with my 2004 Ram with a 5.7?

I was at a stop light yesterday when my truck began idling very rough then stalled. I had to try several times before it finally restarted. It didn't have any further issues for a while, then it it started sputtering again while idling and I noticed my speedometer was jumping between between 0 and 5 mph even though I was not moving. The vehicle has no issues while I'm moving, and the throttle response is great, there is no hesitation at all whatsoever. It has only acted up while idling thus far. Any one else experienced a similar issue or have any clues as to what the problem could be?
