Were the bible translators wolves wearing sheep's clothing?

Did they translate the words of Jesus using slang, idioms and euphemisms hoping that you would understand the slang, idioms and euphemisms to mean something that fit into their personal dogma? They had to use tricks because it was against God to change the bible.
