Tips for a story I'm writing?

How about the crush of hers tries to get her to stop the rebellion, knowing it will end in death. And she doesn't listen, even though they are really close and they really do love each other. And because of her stupidity, he almost gets killed for being close to her. Because of this near-death-experience, he ignores her and tries saying he does not love her, but in the end, he's helping her and deeply in love with her again. (Or another option is: because of her stupidity, she has to see him die painfully?) I don't know, just an idea in the making! Good luck on getting published! ~Jennifer L. Potter~
